It is a great pleasure to welcome you, on behalf of the children, staff and Governors, to Allerton Primary School and Nursery.
Allerton Primary School and Nursery is a community school offering outstanding educational provision. We are proud to be part of a very supportive and culturally-diverse community.
We are ambitious and have very high expectations of ourselves to provide an excellent education for all of the pupils who attend our school. Equally we have very high expectations for pupils' learning, behaviour and attendance.
We have an expectation that parents/carers will take the time to find out about our school before their children join so that we can work together to support and promote our successful ethos.
There is a strong emphasis on working in close partnership with parents/carers to promote our positive behaviour policy based on SCARF and there is a ‘zero tolerance’ approach towards inappropriate behaviour of any kind.
As a result Allerton Primary School and Nursery is a happy and safe place to learn.
We have achieved three successive outstanding inspection reports from Ofsted, the most recent being June 2012. We were proud when Ofsted made the following comments about our school during their 2012 inspection.
“Allerton Primary School and Nursery is rigorous in its drive to achieve excellence in all aspects of its work and has built on previous strong practice.”
“Achievement throughout the school is outstanding for all groups of pupils”.
“High expectations for considerate and courteous behaviour and excellent relationships between all members of the school and local community, promote strong community cohesion and outstanding behaviour.”
We would love to share with you our outstanding and vibrant school.
